Comments: Best to start on a normal Ab, since the Ab on the trill is somewhat flat. This fingering has the oddity that putting the trill finger down makes the pitch go up.   Comments: Normal fingering

Comments: The trilled note is really a low F, but gently played and slurred from a regular 2nd octave Ab, you get a 2nd octave Gb that is useable on some recorders, although somewhat odd sounding. It cannot be held, but can be good for short trills.
